The front rod projects 3.86” while the back rod projects 1.86” from the wall. A 5/8 inch diameter double curtain rod is recommended for use with light to medium weight curtains in your bedroom or living room and adds a layered look to your window. Layering curtains gives you more control over how much light to let into your room throughout the day and provides more insulation during colder months.
